Corporate Profile

Phoenix Academy is based in Perth, Western Australia. Phoenix Academy is one of Australia’s largest English Language institutions, and the largest specialist centre in Perth (both in the public and private sector).

From its inception in 1989 Phoenix Academy has successfully managed the enrolment, admission, accommodation, orientation, training and on-going pastoral care for over 36,000 students, with an annual turnover exceeding $7 million. Clients are drawn from over 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America making Phoenix Academy one of Australia’s most ethnically diverse language centres. Students come study courses from one week to one year depending on their learning objectives. An entire package of instruction, plus airport meet and greet and welcoming homestay accommodation or on-campus hostel is offered to every client.

Students may start on any Monday throughout the year, fifty weeks of the year. All students undertake an orientation program on arrival, have extensive counselling services available on a 24 hour basis, and are provided graduation certificates on completion of programs. Many of these students undertake the above programs as a precursor to further study in another WA institution, or travel afterwards throughout WA and Australia

Quality and Customer care has always been at the heart of Phoenix Academy’s business strategy, allowing the company to prosper in a very competitive international education market. The motto “We Care” was adopted in 1989 and remains a guiding philosophy today, differentiating Phoenix Academy from most of its competitors. Phoenix’s goal is to raise the standards of English Language competency of its clients and today the name Phoenix Training is synonymous with Quality and Best Practice.
